Tulane's residence halls – equipped with study lounges, kitchenettes, laundry facilities, air conditioning, and internet connections – provide a convenient center for student life on campus. First, second, and third-year students reside on campus with a meal plan unless they are from the New Orleans area and are granted an exception.

Monroe Residence Hall

Monroe Residence Hall is a 12-story hall, which is coed by wing and home to first-year students. Monroe features double style rooms with community style bathrooms. Monroe is home to the . Sharp Residence Hall

 

Sharp Residence Hall is coed community with double rooms and community style bathrooms that houses first-year students. Sharp is home to the Explore Residential Learning Community. provides experiential, place-based outdoor recreation opportunities that highlight the landscapes, ecosystems, and communities of the Gulf South and beyond.

Wall Residence Hall

Wall Residence Hall is a coed, first year community that houses first-year students in suite-style housing. It is also home to a Faculty in Residence and their family, who interact with students through regular programming. Wall is home to the Gender Affirming Housing (GAH) Cluster. Gender Affirming Housing allows undergraduate students of any gender the option of living in the same room/suite/or apartment with other students regardless of their gender marker on file with Tulane University. GAH is designed to be a more inclusive home on campus for students who identify as transgender, nonbinary, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, intersex, queer, asexual, agender, questioning (LGBTQIA+), and their allies. . Butler Residence Hall

Butler Residence Hall is a coed by floor residence hall for first-year students. Butler is an 8-story building and features double-style rooms with community style bathrooms. Butler is home to the Ignite RLC. The brings together first-year students with an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. Through experiential learning and academic coursework, this RLC will foster an entrepreneurial mindset and provide opportunities for residents to explore and share ideas.

Josephine Louise Residence Hall

Josephine Louise Residence Hall, is a coed, first-year student community with single or double occupancy rooms and community-style bathrooms. Josephine Louise (or JOLO) is one of the four original buildings on the Newcomb campus.

Warren Residence Hall

Warren Residence House is a co-ed community for first-year students. Warren is home to the 1963 Collective RLC. he 1963 Collective is designed for any first-year students who are passionate about exploring Black history, culture, knowledge, and leadership.
